Lord Eravien Haund was a very active faction representative for The Lords' Alliance. He was a noble of Tethyrian and moon elf heritage, his youthful looks belying his actual age and experience. Although he hailed from Waterdeep, Lord Haund often traveled to other alliance settlements.
He was slain at a feast in Gauntlgrym given by King Bruenor Battlehammer, in Kythorn of the year 1375. The feast was infiltrated by doppelganger assassins with an unknown purpose. Although the guests (who included legendary adventurers such as Drizzt Do'Urden, Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun, and King Battlehammer himself) made short work of the assassins, Haund still fell to their blades.
His body currently rests in Gauntlgrym, where the priests of Berronar Truesilver are attempting to raise him from the dead. Until they succeed, his duties to The Lords' Alliance have been assumed by Nathaniel Strayl.
Lord Haund was a charming and sly courtier, able to immediately size up any social situation, but his fondness for socializing often distracted him from what's important.
Lord Haund uses the noble statistics found in the Monster Manual with the following changes:
- He has darkvision (60 feet).
- He has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put him to sleep.
- He knows the prestidigitation cantrip.
